About the Role:
We are currently seeking compassionate, dedicated, and professional Children Carers to join our team and provide exceptional care and support for children. As a Children Carer, you will work closely with children of varying ages and backgrounds, ensuring their safety, well-being, and overall development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support for children, including assistance with daily activities such as dressing, feeding, and hygiene.
- Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Create and implement engaging activities tailored to each child’s needs, interests, and developmental goals.
- Monitor and ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children in your care.
- Support children with educational tasks and homework as required.
- Administer prescribed medication, if necessary, following proper protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children’s care, activities, and progress.
- Promote positive behaviour and ensure that children adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other caregivers and professionals to deliver the highest standard of care.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a care or educational setting.
- A compassionate and caring nature with a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- A valid background check (DBS) and any relevant childcare certifications are preferred.
- First aid and child protection training is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to changing needs.
