Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances while ensuring safety, compliance, and timely deliveries. This role is critical to maintaining smooth and efficient operations and upholding our commitment to providing excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport Goods: Operate a Class 1 vehicle to deliver goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations.
  • Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient and safe routes, adjusting for traffic, weather, and road conditions.
  • Load and Unload: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring all items are secured and protected during transport.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly. Ensure the vehicle is always in good working condition.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and fuel receipts. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Service: Maintain professional relationships with clients, providing timely updates on deliveries and ensuring high-quality service.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Always follow safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment when required.
  • Must have a can do attitude

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
  • Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
